Rudolph and Parachute Santa 11-21-10

This card is for the progressive challenge for Creative Chicks at Stretch N Bubbles. The digi for the challenge is the cute reindeer and can be purchased at the SNB shop. At some point I hope to add a sentiment of some sort but could not figure out what to use the night I created the card. Any suggestions????

Blog Hop introducing new Whimsy Stamps! Runs 11-10 thru 11-17

Check out the newest of the Whimsy Stamp collection on the Blog Hop that starts at Crissy's Art & Heart. They have some great new products to share and 6 prize pages along the way. Whimsy Stamps is now extending and adding to the rubber and digital stamps with it's own range of.... DIES and PAPER!

The eye candy along the hop is to die for! They gave me a lot of ideas and things I want to try.

So grab a drink and a small snack and get to hopping! It starts at Crissy's page.

Snowy Reindeer

Ok, so I totally blitzed and almost forgot to make my card for the progressive Creative Chick Challenge by Stretch n Bubbles. If you missed it and would like to purchase the reindeer you can do so at the SNB shop. There were a few firsts for me on this card. I had never worked with foil before and think that my first attempt was ok but I won't try and do it over edges of paper next time. I had never used the snow marker before and I see it being used in the future. I love how it puffed up when heated (although I forgot to heat before applying cream card stock to card so I warped the card).

Digi: Reindeer from Stretch n Bubbles
Paper: Scraps
Sentiment: "Happy Holidays" done in silver foil
Snow: Snow Marker (puffs up when heated)

Autumn Blessing

Okay so I am having problems today getting the pic to face the correct direction. I used tumbled glass Distress Ink to color the background. Then I used a tree stamp purchased from Hobby Lobby and stamped it 3 times. The apples on the tree and ground are puff paint. The ground is brown and green Distress Ink(sorry can't remember which colors). The basket of apples is a digi stamp from a progressive challenge at Stretch N' Bubble. You can purchase it at their shop.I added the wording and cut 3 circles and layered them behind the digi.
