All Bundled Up

This one caused some trouble as well. Used SureCutsAlot to cut all the ovals which for me proved to be challenging because I don't normally use the program. Another cute snowman digi from Spyder's Corner that I colored with copics. All paper was from the scrap box. And the stamp is from $1 pack I think from Micheal's.

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges:

  1. Spyder's Corner: October Challenge: Use 1 of Spyder's digis
  2. Pear Tree Design: Challenge 22: Free for All

Snowman Ornament Card

Hmm...this card was sort of a challenge for me in the fact that I wanted to have the cute snowman, from Spyder's Corner, in the ornament without having to hand cut the snowman and/or the ornament. So I went to work getting the snowman printed in just the right spot on the white paper to match up with the center of the ornament after the Cricut cut the ornament. It took a few trial runs and about 45 mins but I finally got it!

I colored the snowman and ornament with copic markers and then sprayed it with Tattered Angels Pearl Glimmer Mist. I also learned how to tie a nice pretty bow last night. The pearls were from a Paper Studio embellishment pack bout at Hobby Lobby. The "Merry Christmas" is a clear sticker from a Paper Studio Stick-a-bilities pack also from Hobby Lobby.

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges:

  1. Spyder's Corner: October challenge: Use one of spyder's digis
  2. Karber Christmas: Christmas Challenge 2: Use a digi
  3. Pear Tree Designs: Challenge 22: Free for all
  4. Christmas Stampin' All Year Long: Challenge 67: Inspiration Challenge

Challenge #20 from SNB 10/13/10

Okay here is the next challenge card. Stretch N' Bubbles provided the digi stamp of the pirate girl (can be purchased at their store). I made here in 4 sizes and colored each one the same with colored pencils and then layered them to get the 3D look. The chest and 2 skulls come from a Recollections dimensional sticker. The x sticker is from SandyLion collection. Both background papers are from The Paper Studio collections from Hobby Lobby.  "Ahoy" is Sonnets font stickers by creative imaginations.

Challenge # 19 from Stretch N' Bubbles 10-6-2010

So this was my very first challenge piece! I kept it simple because since I was working on it during my son's nap time and did not want to be halfway done when he woke. I used colored pencils and a black marker since the copics are at my moms. The digi stamp was free if participating in the challenge at Stretch N' Bubbles. If you missed their freebie you can get great digi stamps from their store!

Well that is it for now...kiddo just woke up.

Welcome!

Welcome to my little spot on earth. I am a first time blogger and mom. I love to scrapbook and have entered the world of card making. I also work on other crafts when I have time. I plan to post a little of everything and hope to get something up in the next few days.
